Breaking the Box: Gender and Freedom in Young Children’s Lives
with: Harper Keenan
What can educators learn from young children’s experiences with gender at school and other educational settings? Dr. Keenan will provide an interactive workshop that invites participants to explore how gender shows up in educational environments, and how it intersects with race and colonialism. Participants will explore what gender means in their own life, and how they might work toward greater gender freedom for themselves and the children with whom they work.
